About NamePairings
Published by Mithila Labs
NamePairings is a free tool made by Mithila Labs, a small independent studio. We built it because every "middle names for [name]" page we could find was the same fifty names copied from site to site, with nothing to say why any of them actually fit.
Here, you type in one name you have already picked, and the site works through every other name against it — for the way it sounds and the style it has — and shows you the reason behind each score. The names and their popularity come from US Social Security Administration public records. The way the matches are scored is ours, and it is spelled out in plain terms on the how we score page.

NamePairings is made for adults choosing a name. It is not aimed at children and does not collect personal information from anyone. It is not connected to or endorsed by the US Social Security Administration.
